The Brother SE400 is a computerized embroidery and sewing machine, featuring a touch screen LCD, automatic needle threader, upper thread and bobbin thread sensors, automatic thread cutter, speed control, needle up/down positioning, built-in free arm, seven (7) standard accessory feet, and an embroidery foot. This light-weight machine is a great basic embroidery machine for small (under 4"x4") designs. Please use Cura to estimate how long your print will take ahead of time. You will need to know how long your print will take before making a reservation. Need help? The Educational Resource Center (ERC) at East Library provides hands-on materials for families wanting to enrich their children’s education or help them improve their skills. Math, science, social studies, and language arts kits, as well as art and music resources and computer software are available for families with students of all ages to use.

One adult is required to be in the space for the entire reservation. Maximum capacity for the space is eight.

No food or drink is permitted in the space.

ERC 1 features three PCs that can be accessed using a library card or guest pass.

When you arrive, you will be offered a menu where you can borrow five items to use while in the space. Click here to learn more about the items that may be available during your visit.

PPLD's studios offer access to equipment and tools to help bring your recording desires to life. In Studio21c, you'll find items such as professional-grade video cameras and lighting, microphones, a sound booth, and green screen.

Makers are responsible for bringing their own media storage to the studio. 64GB minimum is recommended.

Makers must be at least 9 years of age to be in the studio, and children 9-11 must have a parent or guardian present. A parent or guardian needs to sign a Creative Space Use Agreement for Minors for anyone under the age of 18.  

The maximum capacity for this space is 5.

SA Check-Out DSLR Camera

Studio916 offers Nikon D3300 / D3500 DSLRs to check out and use outside of the library. DSLRs are digital cameras that take photos with excellent image quality at a high resolution with very little noise. 

We strongly recommend equipment be picked up on the first day of the reservation. Availability is not guaranteed for late pickups and the return date will likely not be able to be adjusted.

All studio check-out equipment must be returned to library staff at a desk during open hours. Do not return this item to a book drop.

Studio916 offers Samson Go USB condenser microphones to check out and use outside of the library. Condenser microphones provide a detailed, accurate pickup of sound sources. They are commonly used on vocals and acoustic instruments, such as pianos, guitars, strings, and woodwinds. 

We strongly recommend equipment be picked up on the first day of the reservation. Availability is not guaranteed for late pickups and the return date will likely not be able to be adjusted.

Studio916 offers a Magnus VT-4000 tripod system with fluid head to check out and use outside of the library. A tripod is a three-legged stand for supporting a camera and holding it steady while a photograph is being taken or video is being recorded. Fluid head tripods allow for smooth video pans and tracking.

SA Studio916 Studio Space

PPLD's studios offer access to equipment and tools to help bring your recording desires to life. In Studio916, you'll find a professional-grade recording studio with a large variety of microphones, professional audio editing and mixing devices, pedals, various musical instruments (including a turntable!), and more.

Studio reservation requests will be approved based on staff availability.

The maximum capacity for this space is 2. We recommend single person reservation and use of the studio spaces. However, you may decide to share the space with another person of your choosing. If you are sharing the space, the whole group must be in the room together at the same time. Patrons may not cycle through. 

Makers must be at least 9 years of age to be in the studio, and children 9-11 must have a parent or guardian present. Parents / guardians must sign paper use forms for anyone under the age of 18.

Reservations will be cancelled after 15 minutes of no-show.
