While the focus of this site is the summit of Pikes Peak (14,115 feet), the 19-mile scenic route to the top provides many views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as designated areas for recreation, including opportunities for hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking. There is a shuttle bus and opportunities to hike. For most visits past mile 7, timed-entry reservations are required. Admission of up to two (2) adult guests (16 years and older) and two (2) children (6-15 years) to Pike’s Peak – America’s Mountain available daily from Oct. 1, 2024 – April 30, 2025 with the printed confirmation from the booking system. Note: Children 5 and younger receive free admission.

This museum is dedicated to educating the public about the history and impact of rodeo on Western American culture. Permanent galleries honor notables and champions of the sport, present a timeline of the National Finals Rodeo, and showcase artifacts from the sport. An outdoor sculpture garden hosts a collection of rodeo-inspired bronze sculptures. Another gallery displays changing exhibitions, primarily of Western art collections and exhibits that pertain to rodeos. Retired rodeo bucking horses are housed at the museum every summer.

Museum Hours:

Winter Hours: Oct. 1 – April 30: Wednesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed Monday and Tuesday. Last admission at 4:30 pm.)

Closed for Holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday (April 20), 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 27), Christmas Eve, & Christmas Day
