Since 1936, The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College has been a destination, offering a museum, a theatre and an art school. The museum is housed in a 132,286 square-foot facility, and boasts 15 galleries focused on the art and culture of the Southwest and the Americas. In addition to rotating exhibits, the permanent collection features over 17,000 objects and features pieces by Georgia O'Keeffe and Dale Chihuly. Visitors can get a free tour from a student guide. The site is fully wheelchair accessible, and interpreters and large scale labels are available upon request. There is also a “tactile gallery,” offering a chance for visitors to engage with the artwork through touch. There is a gift shop on site.

Museum Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Free days are the second Saturday and third Friday of each month. The museum is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

This museum, opened in 1967, is home to a collection of rare and historically significant coins, paper currency, and related artifacts. Housed in the headquarters of the American Numismatic Association, the museum has three galleries in which exhibitions, with important and sometimes-rare artifacts from the U.S. and around the globe, are presented. There is a gift shop on the premises.

While the focus of this site is the summit of Pikes Peak (14,115 feet), the 19-mile scenic route to the top provides many views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as designated areas for recreation, including opportunities for hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, and kayaking. There is a shuttle bus and opportunities to hike. For most visits past mile 7, timed-entry reservations are required. This museum is dedicated to educating the public about the history and impact of rodeo on Western American culture. Permanent galleries honor notables and champions of the sport, present a timeline of the National Finals Rodeo, and showcase artifacts from the sport. An outdoor sculpture garden hosts a collection of rodeo-inspired bronze sculptures. Another gallery displays changing exhibitions, primarily of Western art collections and exhibits that pertain to rodeos. Retired rodeo bucking horses are housed at the museum every summer.

Tours are the way visitors explore various indoor and outdoor training centers in the Colorado Springs area, including the Strength and Conditioning gym, Aquatics Center, Wrestling Gym, and Sport Centers. (Please visit the website for schedules.) The campus is entirely ADA accessible. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. There is a visitor's center and gift shop on the premises.

U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center and Team Store Hours: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Sundays.

Guided tours are available every hour on the hour, Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations needed for groups of 10 or less. Please note that the Team Store closes at 5 p.m. If you plan to take the 4 p.m. tour you will want to arrive early to shop before the start of the tour. Tours last approximately 75 minutes.

Committed to educating the public about mining in Colorado and the American West, the museum features working machinery, a model mining drift, and gold panning stations in the 12,200 square foot exhibit hall, plus historic buildings and machinery that sit on a 27-acre site. Permanent and changing exhibits—some interactive—explore different aspects of the industry. The campus includes the Reynolds Ranch House (a Victorian-style farmhouse), a stamp mill (used for breaking ore in search of gold), a blacksmith shop, and many pieces of outdoor machinery.
